<\/a><\/p>\nWe saw this bottle turned into a lamp at Jose Maria Da Fonseca, the original winery that produced Lancers, one of the worst stains on the world of wine in history!\u00a0 They still make this stuff, although they have spruced up the bottle a bit.<\/p>\n
We tried a few of their wines (not the Lancers), but were not impressed with any of them.\u00a0 Go figure!<\/p>\n Nearly across the street (this town is very small) is Bacalhoa Vinhos de Portugal.<\/p>\n The owner has an obsession with painting everything blue.\u00a0 We love blue mind you, but this guy takes it just a little too far.<\/p>\n The owner is also a big fan of Abraham Lincoln.\u00a0 It was very strange to see this in the middle of Portugal.<\/p>\n The wines were just ok.\u00a0 Perhaps if they focused a little more on wine and a little less on blue paint….<\/p>\n They had a really old olive tree planted here that they transplanted from a nearby area where they were building a dam.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
