This place in the Algarve, on the coast near Lagos, has to be the nicest resort in Portugal. Once again the car nav system failed us miserably, but we did meet a very cool guy from Sweden named Gustav who pointed us in the right direction.
This resort has 114 rooms and 10 restaurants! The place is simply gorgeous!
Because it’s the low season they gave us a free upgrade to a suite.

Life is rough!
There were a total of 122 murders in the country of Portugal in 2017. So it seems a safe enough place. However, of the 122 murders, 121 involved a rental vehicle’s GPS! The remaining murder involved the GPS programmer. Euros are lazy, or live a more relaxed lifestyle, or are more carefree, however you wish to frame it, don’t count on their GPS to work.
