Just a quick note about Feitoria restaurant in Belem. This place has 1 Michelin star, and is a truly beautiful restaurant. The service was impeccable, with the exception of a bit of a lag between the main course and desert. The best parts of the meal were the numerous amuse-bouche courses (3 of them). The rest of the main 4 course meal was good, but not up to Michelin quality IMHO. We also did the wine pairing, and I’ve gotta admit I’m not a fan of Madeira….I much prefer tawny Port! They do put on quite the show with the service….that was definitely Michelin quality!
